Ilyssa is a Chicago-based actor who has had the pleasure to work with directors like David Fincher, Chris Nolan, and Gus Van Sant. Ilyssa can be seen in the various “made in Illinois” shows like Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Boss. She’s also known nationally as a top voice over talent. She has performed with various theater companies as well, most recently at Theatre WIT. A professional SAG-AFTRA actor for over 20 yrs, she loves working with the brilliant and creative talent in Chicago. Being a part of TW Miller's short film Scam Bam Thank You Ma’am was a thrill! Ilyssa Fradin
A veteran actor of stage, television, and film, he attended Brandeis University (MFA, Acting). He then worked in Chicago at the beginning of its burgeoning theatre movement before being called to Broadway. On stage, he played Lingk in the original production of Glengarry Glen Ross; in the Goodman Theatre's original production and the National Tour. In New York, he worked on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway. He has worked in various regional theaters through-out the U.S.
On film, he can be seen in The Spanish Prisoner; Homicide; Things Change all written and directed by David Mamet. Other films include God Help Us All: Dad; Stone Cold; Ghost In the Machine and many other independent and short films.
Mr. Stransky's numerous appearances on television include: Chicago P.D.; Embeds (Go90) as a recurring Guest Star in all six episodes: Patriot (entirely in French); Ed: Third Watch: four different characters on Law & Order; plus many sitcoms, mini-series, and episodes.
Charles Stransky
Originating in the theatre, Jeff-Nominated Catherine Smitko began her career onstage at the Goodman and has, in recent years, transitioned to on-camera work and loves it!
A staple in the Chicago music scene, she has performed as a singer everywhere from the Green Mill to Metro to The Baton and has been fortunate to share the stage with many luminaries in many genres.
Performance art is her current passion and is creating some new pieces for dark cabaret and the lovely and loving burlesque crowd.
